SWB Consulting Services was honored to present at the Nonprofit Lifecycles Institute Winter Meeting with Helen Stepowany of HPR Consulting. Helen and I had co-facilitated a complex strategic plan during 2020 that was presented at the conference.
The dialogue focused on the role of stakeholders. This concept is relevant to almost all organizations. Who cares about your work? Whom does your work impact? Who pays for you to do your work?
We also asked some critical questions:

Critical Questions
What do stakeholders want and need?
What is achievable for the organization?
What is our niche?
What are our values?
What is preventing us from achieving scale?
Who are the other groups we should join with?
We moved to the implementation phase with a logic model structure for the Action Plans.
Strategic Actions:
Elements to Consider for 2021, 2022, 2023
Assumptions
What do you know, assume or want to confirm about Financial and Human Resources?

Remember, a strategic plan is about the future!
“The ability to shift from reacting against the past to leaning into and presencing an emerging future is probably the single most important leadership capacity today.”
