Year-end Reflection

This time last year, no one could have imagined the 2020 that actually happened. I am thankful that I have not gotten sick, and all my family are coronavirus-free. However, we do have friends who got COVID-19 and were laid low for several days.

The impact on the economy, small businesses, nonprofits and governments has been life changing. Unemployment is higher than it was during the Great Recession.

Nothing Left

“Outside,
the machine is powering down.
You can hear yourself when the gears aren’t grinding.

When there is nothing left to do but live,
simply show up;
that has always been enough.

And together in this sudden strangeness,
radical imagination will run wild;
tomorrow being built today.”

Bobby LeFebre (a poet from Denver)

Let’s use this time of disruption to re-evaluate what matters most. Use your "radical imagination" to build a new tomorrow.

Happy Holidays!
